….“Hope is the thing with feathers, that perches in the soul” (Emily Dickensen)

A cold slow spring brings hidden surprises and herewith please download your 2018 seasonal application forms to be returned asap with garden dues. Please drop me a line to let me know if you wish to maintain your last seasons plot. I am planning to be in the garden tomorrow mid am to set up the rain barrels and assess steps to plan our post winter fence repair. It was pulled down by late heavy snow in places.

Starting May, we will begin our monthly second Saturday, 10 am to noon meetings in the garden. ( May12, June 9, July 14, Aug 11, Sept 8 and Oct 13).

We request gardeners attend at least two seasonal meetings or provide the equivalent of (4) hours of service per season. I will circulate and post a sign up sheet for mowing and have it on hand at the first meeting, May 12th.

Save the date; Saturday May 26th for the seedling sale 10 am to noon. There will be tomatoes, lots of flowers, squash and more for sale in front of the garden. Please feel free to bring what you have and I will arrange to supplement with leftover dues from last season.

Looking forward to another great season in our Community Garden,
